Frame a Dream Project
Location: Phoenix Children's Hospital, Arizona
The Frame a Dream project allows groups to construct the wish of a child in longterm care at The Phoenix Children's Hospital. Our wish came from Shyanne, age 8, who wished for "Justin Bieber and Me." As a team, we constructed a portable speaker shaped like headphones, inspired by Justin Bieber's own headphone line. This way, Shyanne will be able to have a personal Justin Bieber concert any time, any place.
Construction Methods: bent lamination, soldering, steel cut with water jet, machine-cut aluminum, electric wiring of circuit board, automotive spraying (paint)
Materials: Hard fern wood, aluminum, automotive paint, steel, speaker
Partners: Sheelah Noffz, Alex Curtis
